As we were taking the bus to the Madrid airport to fly home, Ann told me to bid goodbye to strange Spanish men. I did it with a smile on my face, but the only man I knew who fit the qualifications was our tour guide, Jesus. The funny thing about this trip is that with around 50 high school students from 5 high schools across the country, one would assume that there might be some juvenile drama. There wasn't. The only drama that happened on the trip surrounded this man, and it was the single adult female travelers that were the culprits. Luckily, the cattiness didn't come to full bloom, and only really started to develop in the last days of the trip when things would normally start to wind down anyway (we had been living out of suitcases for 8 days by now and had seen a lot of cathedrals). It did keep things interesting though. He was more than a bit of a flirt. And pretty cute too. With a charming accent. Too bad he knew it ;).
(Thanks for the pic, Ann!)
